short adventure
Your
task is to continue the story, describing the place, what problems arise, who (or
what ) they
meet and finally, how they get back! Let’s
start with a story plan, you can develop these points as you go. Use
these prompts to help you with
the plan
sheet:
Describe
the characters:
What
are they like? Are they friends? Are they similar in personality or
quite different? (ie one brave, one not, one foolhardy, the other
cautious, for example, as this can help you with how the story
develops)
What
is this place they are now in?
Remember
to use the five senses to help you; being a dark place, perhaps sight
is not going to be one your characters would use right away!
What
problem occurs that makes your story exciting? Who do they meet?
Helpful or.,.not at all!
How
do they get back to… You decide where it was that
these characters had to get back to, it won’t necessarily be home –
it could be a visiting place or one they thought they knew well...
