Maths Thursday 2nd April

Good Morning Willow Class

Today I would like you to recap on finding fractions of amounts.

To find a unit fraction of an amount 
eg 1/2  of a number simply divide the total amount you have by the denominator.
1/2 of 18 = 18 divided by 2 = 18÷2 = 9




1/6 of 48 = 48 ÷ 6 = 8
