Today, I thought it might be nice
to write a poem using our work on similes.
You could then use your skills from
your leaf art activity to decorate your poem.
Below are some beautiful leaf

What object is the same colour as
your leaf?
How can you describe what the
object does/how it moves?
How can
you use describe your object using as much detail as possible?
Can you include alliteration?
eg golden leaf - a crown is golden
My leaf is as golden as a crown
that sits upon the head of the one who rules a magical kingdom.
or
eg golden- sun
My leaf is as golden as the summer
sun that sits and smiles silently upon all that lays below.
