Today we are going to continue with our learning of decimals.
If we have 1 whole and we divide it into ten equal parts we have 1/10.
From our work yesterday, we also know we can write 1/10 as a decimal 0.1
This can be also written 1 ÷ 10 = 0.1
Remember to divide a number by 10 we move the digits one place back and to divide by 100 we move digits 2 places back. You might want to draw your self a grid on your whiteboard to help you today or you could explore dividing by 10 and 100 by visiting
