Maths Friday 1st May

Maths

We’ve been looking at the months of the year in French.  In your French activities this week, you will be using the months of the year along with numbers to write… dates, of course!

Here is a quick practice ordering the months of the year.  You may know these quite well, so that’s great, but just to be sure, are you able to say with speed what number month each one is?  You’ll know the first, as well as the last month, of course.  What is the 8th month?  The 6th?  The 9th?

If you see the date written as 15/3 with or without the year (15/5 or 15/03/2020 or as 15.3.20), are you able to say what month this is?  This example is the 15th March.

This quick practice will help you with your French this week!

As I said, quick recall comes with practice.  If these don’t come quickly, have a regular look at a whole calendar to help you.
