French Friday
Bonjour!
I hope you have enjoyed
practising new vocabulary and phrases, putting together what you already know
with a little of something new each week.
Today we can use
numbers and colours along with parts of the body –
Les parties du corps (‘kaw’) to describe some … monsters! (Why not?)
We will add a new sentence opener:
Il a … / Elle a …which means He
has… or She has…
After this practice we will begin some brand new vocabulary to introduce our family!
To start, this video
link is a good one for practice of pronunciation of parts of the face – le
visage.
We
can start our description with an important expression:
Il a or Elle
a, which means He has or She has…
The first example means He has eight white eyes. He has six legs. You can decide for yourself
which colours to use in your sentences. (You could either print or draw your own for each of these.)
Now for a start on
something new: La Famille.
This week will
concentrate on just a few members of a family:
(‘Ma famille’ means My family):
'Tu as...' = 'Do you have ...?'
